but if there is a transgendered in your bathroom the only time you will come into contact with them is if you dont lock your stall and they open your door thinking it is empty or when you are washing your hands at the sink

You don't need to ban transgender people from bathrooms to prosecute that kid, regardless of whether it was a transgender girl or a boy.

But the message we should be uplifting is that a male could walk into a woman''s restroom and rape a woman; a woman could walk into a women's restroom and assault a woman. Trans bans don't protect anyone. They ONLY discriminate.

Where I live, that is the law. Any person can determine what sex they are at any given time or place and it must be respected.

I agree with self identification, but I can't find any evidence that any county or state implements that as allowing gender swaps at any time and any place.

Even if that were the case, bathroom bans remain unnecessary to prosecute assault, rape, or whatever the legal term for peeping Tom is.

I have no idea what the viable solution to all this is other than the open, multi-gender bathrooms we've discussed in the past.

Very nice infrastructure improvements aside ...

If that's the counter argument, is there any solution that allows society to function? If a woman fears transwomen because a man abused her, does her trauma stop at the bathroom door? Would she advocate for removal of men and transwomen from the classroom? What about the college dorm room? Restaurants? Parks?

I'm not belittling the trauma of abuse, but if protecting women from trauma is the only priority, we need to reorganize society, not just bathrooms and laws restricting trans individuals from existing.

Maybe we start with not making rapists President, Cabinet Members, and Supreme Court Justices.

Yeah you're right. Someone complained. Now we have to reorder society, recondition ourselves and how we interact, and squander time and resources on idiotic social engineering projects like remaking bathrooms, to the extremely dubious benefit of no one but a tiny group of people. All because your empathy has been hijacked and you can only act by feeling rather than logic.
