I got it on guess four, but it was a strange one. I had one yellow, then three yellows, then four yellows, then finally got it

I realized awhile back which words to start with. And since then it became pretty easy. I haven't played in a long time. But I still play many other NYT games: connections, strands, mini cross word, etc.

I had the same two letters in incorrect spots for the first three guesses, then got it on the fourth. Eliminating most of the vowels by then and having the A in the wrong spot three times helped narrow it down a bit

Me too.

After only getting one letter in the wrong place on the first try, I somehow pulled it out of the ether and guessed it correctly on the second today.

Ether is a great word but it’s not a great starting word for wordle
