Would you want to know now if you had an inoperable tumor that will kill you in the next ten years?
At least you have 10 years to make peace with the planet?
Seems like you'd always be running from the shadow of what will happen instead of actually being at peace living. I dunno. Maybe you would come to terms with it eventually.
Probably gonna sign up for one anyway.
probably about 5 years ago my brother when to a ears nose throat specialist because he was dealing with acid reflux a lot.
they send him off for an MRI and turned out he had three tumors, one on his stomach and two on his kidneys. had no idea. there were not outwardly shaped bumps anywhere and for the one on his stomach it was close to 14lbs. thankfully non-cancerous.
before he found out they were non-cancerous he very nonchalantly said to me, yea i have three tumors and they might be cancer and left the room. it took a full minute for my mind to process that and once it hit me i asked him how he could be so blase about it. his reply was, well what can i do about it either way?

i don't know your situation, but we had a mouse issue, and after setting snap traps wasn't a success, we opted to get the little contraptions with poisonous bait. the mice eat it, and eventually just die in the walls. no smell.

Haha holy shit. We just went through this. Houses around here have crawlspaces. Our vapor barrier must have had a hole, because we saw a rat coming out from underneath one night. Called the company, they set the traps, and two days later we could smell in our living room downstairs. Fortunately ours came out as soon as we called.

It isn't in it though, just under it. There is no access to the interior of the house from it.

So gross. Fortunately the rat issue is only in our building’s courtyard and not in any units. The courtyard smelled disgusting though; guy finally came two days later to dispose of it, which seems unacceptable and hence my question.
Also he said it was a pregnant one, so got her just in time.

Except after a few months of doing so, you’d start feeling like absolute ass all the time. Maybe not the best way to live out your final days.

You can abort anything in Illinois.
maybe your building can double as a clinic for unexpecting mother rats
you can call it planned parathood.
edit: this does not mean i think planned parenthood provides abortion services.
