Last week, I actually played "Dark Matter" on my headphones and then went right into "Gonna See My Friend" and it was shocking how bad it sounded compared to the new one. I was worried about Watt, but I gotta say, it sounds pretty huge. That 12-string bass just slays.

Yes but clearly the point of the post was that it was #1 in Alternative, which they had never achieved. Seems like a weird little dig at that achievement to shift focus to that other chart of much lower significance because oh they old and dad rock and whatever.

Somebody said the drum intro is the worst part. I think I agree.

I wish this song was 5 minutes long.

Maybe the drum intro somehow ties into the ending of the song that comes before it on the album.

Yeah, I'm kind of tired of drum intros. Pearl Jam uses a lot of them.
