Finally got to this. Oh man, I love this album. It’s got the stuff that makes me a fan to begin with (Break the Chain, Chevrolet), and some new ground that’s catchy and addictive while very much true to who Neil is an an artist (Love Earth, This Old Planet, The World Is In Trouble Now, Walkin’ on the Road, and The Wonder Won’t Wait). I mean there’s not much of anything I’d skip here. Probably my favorite since Psychedelic Pill - I guess Chevrolet gives us that vibe in spades. Just a top notch varied album.

Finally broke down and grabbed Toast on vinyl.
Fuck, I love this album.
Maybe I need to give World Record another go - it wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either. Liked Chevrolet, though.

Finally picked up El Dorado and saw on Discogs that the ‘73 Santa Monica Flyers Under The Rainbow show has made its was into the world. Anyone know anything about that release? It’s part of the bootleg series.

It's funny, the same thing happened to El Dorado--i.e., it showed up in Europe and Australia looooong before it showed up in the U.S. Excited to get my hands on it when it does come over here!

Yeah I thought I remember that happening too. Hopefully we see it soon. Been on a huge bootleg dive lately.

I’ve read 2 separate mentionings on two completely unofficial sites that Mirrorball will be reissued this year with a live album and maybe film. Which is a new rumor to me but may be already known in the NY circles

Neil's been threatening to release a Mirrorball film for some time but a 2023 release is looking a distinct possibility according to a couple of his updates about it on NYA over the past year. That said, as with any of Neil's projects, there's also the possibility it'll sit on the shelf for another decade.

I broke down and ordered an "import" Mirrorball vinyl over the weekend - that should help speed things up a bit!

Crazy Horse will release a new album:
The current lineup of Neil Young's band Crazy Horse, along with Neil himself, will be releasing an album as Molina, Talbot, Lofgren & Young. It's called All Roads Lead Home, and it comes out March 31 via Reprise. As Stereogum points out, it features multiple songs written by Ralph Molina, Billy Talbot, and Nils Lofgren, as well as one Neil Young composition, "Song of the Seasons," which was also recorded for 2021's Barn. The first single is "You Will Never Know," a breezy folk rock song penned by Nils Lofgren, and you can check that one out below.

I've never dived deep on the Crazy Horse albums that aren't NY w/ Crazy Horse, so I'm interested in this and maybe going back to those. Anyone have any favorites?
