100% yes. I would wager my life on it.

So then... would it be fair to say... that part of this person's job... is to move Bill Maher's threads?

Can they get any Lower?
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

While I agree that the band's online store having a gangbusters "Black Friday" supersale is faintly ridiculous, I don't think this is new. I'm pretty sure they've done this for a few years now, the dorks.

I'd like to imagine the band themselves are pretty arms-length about this kind of junk and it's more of a Ten Club/Tim Bierman thing (which, of course, is no excuse as they could still take responsibility for how they're represented if they cared enough to do so).

Ah yes, the irony of using an anti-establishment symbol to participate in the largest retailing day of the year. Fuck the Man/Be the Man.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

I, for one, appreciate the BF sale. I am patient enough to wait for it. I saved a ton on bootlegs over the years. Too bad bootlegs are excluded this year.

I don't think Pearl Jam have ever been strongly (or least consistently) anti-establishment; their stances on things such as Ticketmaster, Sony, the interview/video blackouts from the 90s were largely about independence and control, not trying to upend existing power structures and whatnot.

I don't know how seriously the video black out is to be taken considering the 2 founding members where shooting videos with their side projects signed on the same label as PJ in the same period.

I think the PRAMG theory has some mayor flaws. Most obviously they never were very consistent at being anti-commercial nor did at least some of them hide the fact that they did care about that aspect to at least some degree. I think the context is very important here, it was the 90's and for a while that was the "cool image" a band was supposed to have as opposite to the extravagance of the 80's. I think it's a fan made myth that PJ was ever a strongly not commercially driven band. Ed issues with fame/attention/spotlight are a separate issue and the rest of the band was famously not very happy with what effect that had on the band's music which was still relatively accessible.
I wonder whether their current music being more accessible is a consequence of their postRA (artificial) songwriting dynamic. They appear to have very different tastes so i wonder if the "forced" collaboration in shaping the songs resulted in the music being more money grabbing friendly on surface post RA considering it coincides with, according to them, a golden age for them. It's also telling that most of the band is openly extremely satisfied with their current music.
The music itself has always been relatively accessible so i think if they wanted they could have been licensing their songs to movies and tv shows throught their career even more than they did. I also don't think accessibility is an issue with music. I doesn't really define it's quality.

No way. If you can achieve total surreality in a message board setting, you absolutely do not fuck around with it.
