I played 15 holes yesterday (had to cut it short to pick up the kiddo). It wasn't pretty, but I was starting to work out the kinks by the end. Hadn't swung a club since Labor Day.

do you and john meet up early and have a bite to eat or drink or do it after your round or do just golf together and not do anything before or after?

we’ve occasionally got food before or after, but usually he has to get back home as his wife hates for him to be gone

though sometime last year we did go by dickeys afterward...he said he didn’t think he liked okra so i had him try one of mine...needless to say he changed his mind

He is conventionally handsome, yes. But he used a belly putter for years, so that drops him down a notch or two.

Lazy and kind of goofy? Yeah, that's actually pretty accurate.

well that was brutal...i hit some nice drives here and there, but was really struggling with hitting off the dead grass...putting was awful, had a makeable birdie putt that i screwed up

we did go to dickeys afterward at least

Beautiful weather this past weekend and a buddy asked me to go golfing. I told him that golf is very low on my list of things to do for four hours these days.
