Hook a playa up. I'm almost through the third episode and can't say I have a gut feeling just yet since of course layers are being added. Trying to go by his interviews is difficult because it was like 15 years later.

This is part 1; probably best to wait until you finish listening.

I only read the sentence under the title. And since the case presented to the jury was flawed and evidence was incorrect, I'm not sure it's worth reading further. Does the article talk about that?

Yea that’s what I was anticipating.

Is it bad that I found the Mr. S stuff funny?

Cristina Gutierrez's voice is irritating af. Adnan should have been convicted on that alone.

I know there has been a ton of new information come out since Serial aired, but I’m hesitant to go down those rabbit holes.

My gut says Adnan did it, but Jay had more involvement than what came out. I was a bit surprised he knew exactly where Hae’s car was, what 6 weeks later?

I also think the murder did not occur in the 2:30-3:00 timeframe. Unfortunately for Adnan he had zero alibis for that afternoon after that time.

I do think the prosecution was shady in some form with stuff involving Jay, but I doubt there was a conspiracy to frame Adnan, pay or threaten Jay to align his story to their benefit, etc…

I’m no lawyer expect, but did seem like Christina made odd choices in her defense.

The Nisha call is big. With a flip phone how likely was a butt dial? I don’t remember those days well enough

So Stitcher is getting further subsumed into Sirius XM; it will no longer be an independent app, and reading between the lines makes it sound like they’re going to be getting rid of a lot of shows: https://stitcher.helpshift.com/hc/en/1- ... 687885657/

Earlier this year, I did a one-month free trial just to download the last few years of a couple of podcasts, since I haven’t been subscribed in a few years. Glad I did it when I did!

The guy who was behind Reply All has a new podcast called Search Engine.

Seems interesting. There are only two episodes. I started on this one last night.

The 100th episode of '60 Songs That Explain The 90's' is about 'Birdhouse In Your Soul' and it's one of my all time favorite eps of the series. It's so, so good. TMBG are one of my favorite bands and hearing others articulate (better than I can) why they're so fucking great really gets my wheels spinnin'!

I just came across the Hollywood Handbook podcast, completely of my own volition, and it's pretty funny. I'd recommend it to tommy in particular because it seems like his kind of humour.

Wow you're right I really liked this. I listened to a couple of hundred episodes last night and it was exactly my sense of humor.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

In Our Time is going to hit 1000 episodes next week. It started as a radio show and not a podcast, but still.
