Yeah it's in theaters.

There was a Sean Connery version that got brutal reviews that I watched a million times when I was a kid. Looking forward to this one.

is that one about the same knight?

Yeah it was called Sword of the Valiant. Came out in ‘84 I believe.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Also this was me about a month ago:

Rewatched Fight Club for the first time in about ten years. The general story held up way better than anticipated. A lot of the digital effects and visual vibe definitely did not.

Also it’s hard to believe there was a time when the twist came as a surprise, because now every scene with Marla is beating you over the head with it.

I did listen to the pod, yes. It went exactly as expected.
