Would upgrading to the Ortofon 2m Blue even make a difference?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Seems like a pretty decent set up. Do you hear anything lacking? Maybe go up a step beyond blue?

Can someone give me the scoop on this Binaural orange vinyl that I keep coming across? I'm assuming it's not an official version but I'm curious what type of artwork it has. If it doesn't have the original artwork then I'm not interested.

Yeah it's a bootleg version that came out a year or two ago. The cover is different because it has "PEARL JAM" written across the top, and the cover is printed on a high gloss cardboard. Not sure about the inner artwork, but I can't imagine it's high quality considering the cover

It kinda sucks that Amazon has it linked to the official Binaural CD, so that any idiot (like me perhaps) could just buy it without realizing they purchased an expensive piece of garbage

I've noticed recently that my vinyl collection is starting to take a clear path towards 3 main categories: 1) classic rock, 2) jazz, and 3) modern indie. My finds this weekend pretty much confirmed that for me.

For those who have never ordered from there: their shipping is a bit high, but if you buy in bulk, you can get some good deals. I ordered like 5 Wilco records once and they ended up being like $16 each (normally over $20 for the double LPs).

They were very reasonable for international rates. Didn't expect them to be on the high side in the states.

I love supporting local stores, but the discovery of this place will put paid to that while this sale is on.

I ordered through CC last year... also got a bunch of Wilco records I think and the shipping to Canada was great. Only issue now is the exchange which basically cancels out the 25% off!

The past week has been very good. Got a lot of my albums in from the gift cards I used from Christmas.

Black Breath: Slaves Beyond Death (excellent packaging)
Baroness: Purple
Nirvana: Nevermind and Unplugged. Both from the Pallas pressing plant in Germany. They sound incredible.
Chelsea Wolfe: Abyss
The Beatles: Rubber Soul "Mono" New version
Tom Petty: Damn The Torpedoes "1980 copy that I found in an antique store. Not sealed, but unplayed, and looks like it just came out of the shrink. Sounds amazing!"

Bowie's Space Oddity through Pin-Ups are individually being reissued on vinyl. Timing is coincidence. Looking forward to these bc I don't feel like paying twice the price for used copies, and the box set these were released in was just too pricey too
