The MLB thing probably burned your chances pretty hard. Leaking someone's record can have a small element of personal risk, or at least requires a modicum of effort on the part of the person in question. A lot of the internal sense of glory or excitement that comes from it probably dissipates when people already have like half the album in their pockets.
Also, albums by older artists are less likely to leak in general. I don't know if it's that they have more records out, so a new release is not the pants shitting moment that it is for fans of most newer artists, or if they just tend to have audiences that are also older...but it's the way it plays out.

I used to absolutely hate dogs... until this dog saved my brother's families' lives in a house fire. Their dog didn't make it but here's Nana. Dogs are awesome
