I think he’s saying that the paper napkin ends up staying on the plate and then gets to the sink where it gets wet and soggy and whoever has to clean the dishes has to deal with a gross wet paper napkin

More so you go to wash the dish and the napkin’s stuck to the plate via a sauce or whatever. Toss he napkin in the way to the sink.

Oh! Napkin in the sink is gross and lazy. On the plate after dinner though, gets scraped into the bin with all the other gunk then off for a rinse in the sink. That's how we do it.
