I'm in Colorado and drinking Fort Collins Brewery's Black Sheep Black IPA. It's really good. Also drinking their Double Chocolate Stout. I like it, but not as much as the IPA. Legal weed is also very nice .

Don't know how far you're going to venture out, but...

Downtown there's the usual stuff like Widmer, Rogue, Deschutes, and Bridgeport.

If you like German beers, just north of downtown there's a great German pub called Prost.

If you get a chance to get out to Hood River, Double Mountain and Pfriem are excellent breweries. There's also Full Sail which isn't too bad, and Big Horse which is pretty meh. Across the river in White Salmon, WA is Everybody's Brewing. Their beer isn't great, but sometimes they have decent guest taps. The reason to go there is their Pork and Pepper Nachos. Worth the trip out there alone.

There's also a lot of smaller breweries like Laurelwood and Hopworks. A lot of people will probably recommend McMenamin's. I don't get why people love those places so much, to me they're just average. All the best beers around here seem to come from Bend or Seattle.

Go to Deschutes, the Abyss is just coming out. It's one of my favorite beers ever.

It's 1/2 hr from where we are camping and clamming this weekend, so definitely want to at least pick something up if not enjoy a few
