Man VG, I forgot how good that show was, they were on fire. I love the abandonment Ed sang with on this fall 09 tour. He clearly shredded his voice for a final time on this tour.

I've done it again, where 'it' means a vague interest in listening to live Pearl Jam leading me to put on some older shows and reminding me that Pearl Jam is dead.

It was just this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdYzVYIiavY

Soundboard audio of Go and Animal from 1993 aligned with a bunch of different pro-shoot footage from that time.

They definitely had a real something going on back then.

That's a voice at the peak of its power right there

What a groove on Animal. "i'd rather be..." never sounded better

Animal is a heavy disco song and you won't convince me otherwise.

Glad the Corduroy call-and-response has disappeared in 2021. Still not a huge fan of the slowdown, but I can live with it.

Anyone notice there playing the beginning almost like the way the song started on the album?

7 years ago today, they played 3 1/2 hours, killer set, as are all of their anniversary shows!

Happy to have seen this one live!
