Only three games left to input until I am caught up on offensive stats for offensive players! My Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V fingers are very tired...

That one is awful. I've been typing in lots of stuff like 4231101 lately though.

I have nightmares about repeatedly entering 5000035 for Frank Thomas in the middle of my lineup.

6259000 for Cash the other day was fun.

Why are you typing it in? Why not just copy-paste? Seems like an easy thing to mess up.

Anyway, here are my current offensive stats. I didn't use chud's template, because data entry is boring, but building the spreadsheet is fun! So it looks a little different from everyone else's.

Well it looks like Mantle and Ruth are right at the front of the race for MOP honors. Good lord.

Unfortunately, they will have to make due as pinch-hitters tomorrow.

Here's the lineup for tomorrow's games:

1 Rickey Henderson CF
2 Robinson Cano 2B
3 Elston Howard C
4 Roger Maris RF
5 Bernie Williams LF
6 Don Mattingly 1B
7 Derek Jeter SS
8 Graig Nettles 3B

It should be pre-loaded.

Still well behind Mr. Cash in the OPS category. #Money

So Asher is throwing both games that could determine if the Royals contend for the 1st round bye?

Is Hornsby still ahead of everyone though?

I'm thinking right now MOP honors are probably down to Hornsby, Ruth, Mantle, Cash, Sosa, and Yaz.

For pitchers it seems like it's down to Boston Pedro and Vean Gregg. I was hoping Cicotte's last start would be one last gem and he'd end up with an ERA around 2.80 to go with his ten wins, but he got pulled pretty early and finished the season at 3.06

His "mercy" lineup is still better than the Royals lineup. It'll just come down to #DevilMagic.

I have a shot at a bye, also. I think. My final-day line-up is still pretty nice.

How are we handling ties as it relates to teams that make the postseason? Settling with play in games, or just going "head to head?"

Should be head to head if it just settles a matter of seeding, but play in game if it's making the playoffs vs not making the playoffs, or getting a bye vs not getting a bye.

Yeah, I posted all of the tie-breakers earlier (and they're in the OP too), but it's essentially what chud said.
