Best Bond movie.

It’s up there with the very best at least. A bit difficult to compare with movies from the 60s.

It was the first time Bond didn’t feel hokey to me. I was never a big fan; everything felt so silly. But with CR suddenly I got the appeal. Maybe if I was born a decade earlier?

Have you seen the Timothy Dalton bond movies?

His Bond felt closest to the books. But it’s Connery then Craig for me.

Malignant. If you're a fan of James Wan's aesthetic stylings, this movie is like porn. Gorgeous and stylish with some remarkably bold and innovative shots, truly dazzling from a directorial perspective. The story is fucking bonkers and completely out-there, with some of the stupidest dialogue I've ever heard. Loved the living hell out of it.

just checked...i've heard his name a lot, but i actually have never seen anything by him

Well... it's a really beautifully shot movie, the story is wild in a fun, trashy way, and the characters speak like the characters from a movie-within-a-movie. The choice is yours. I had a great time.

Brief Encounter

Second time. Not sure I love it as much as others do, but it's beautiful in its simplicity. Well acted and directed as well.

Kneehigh Theater Company's stage adaptation of Brief Encounter was gorgeous and thrilling. One of my favorite shows I've been lucky enough to work on.

You haven't seen The Conjuring?

I'd recommend that over Malignant. Especially if you're looking for a horror movie. Malignant was more of a comedy.

Malignant is a masterpiece. Anyone with just a little love for the craft of cinema should go see it on a theatre right now.
