It also looks like one of those African statue heads. OTE is my best guess, but only because it'd work, not because it's likely.

Infallible?

Something could be going into the head which symbolizes the voice of God talking directly to this person. Somewhat related to how some Catholics believe that the pope can communicate directly with God. Hence, why he's considered Infallible.

I know it's a stretch, but it's worth a guess.

How cool would it be to have a proper "out of my mind" out there?
I think it would work... A lot.

I prefer the "earth as brain"/OTE theory... but only because I really want to see OTE on here

No, they'd be clearly out of ideas if they did that

It's the B-side to Not For You

*Edit - it's a live "improv" they played once in '94 and the live recording is the Not For You b-side. Some fan paid them $10,000 (or donated it, I think) to play it again in Philly in '09 as part of that 4 show run

It makes perfect sense. Head comes off. Cross section. He's thinking OF THE EARTH, and saving it and conservation and shit. Tribal hippy stuff.

And if this is the reverse order, this would be track 4 and I could see OTE playing the same role as Severed Hand in the 4 spot.

Ah, shit! Now I'm going to be disappointed when it's not OTE

Haha, it's not going to disappoint me if it isn't, it'll just be nice if it is..

Looks like it could be a reference to a person receiving the "Holy Spirit."

No, true. Literally haven't heard that b-side, but I don't listen to boots and I wasn't buying PJ singles back then either.
