alligator just never did it for me as a complete album

trouble had to grow on me a bit

Boxer is the only one I really got into. I guess I didn't need anymore after that?

Boxer is so fucking great.

I finally figured out the name & artist of a song that's been stuck in my head for 10+ years. It's "Ladyfingers" by The Fever. I think I first heard it on MTV2 or something, late at night. Over the many years of having this song in my head without hearing the original to "rectify" it, my brain modified certain elements of it and made it darker, heavier and faster. Listening to the real version now... it's not a good song.

Ive listened to High Violet, Alligator and Trouble only a few times. I like them a lot.

While I think it could be argued HV is the better overall album, I do think their absolute best songs are on Alligator.

Last night I had a dream that the Afghan Whigs opened for the Zac Brown Band. No one was there to watch the opening set, so Zac Brown came out and did a duet with Greg? Dulli. I woke up feeling bad for Dulli.

No matter how hard I try, I just can't get into anything John Lyndon related. Doesn't do anything for me.

Any version of that fucking song about paving paradise and putting up a parking lot is the worst song ever.

"Put up a parking lot" doesn't make any sense. "Put up a parking garage," sure. But wouldn't you "put down a parking lot"?
