While I don't like the guy at all, how is this not a form of entrapment? She went to the website on purpose and met him on purpose and so now he's on the hook because she didn't feel like telling him she was under 18? That's kind of f'ed up.

That story doesn't say anything about whether he was aware of her age

I get the not-a-cop thing, and he should have inquired about her age definitely. Just feels weird that she went through this whole thing knowing she wasn't 18.

These days eight killed in a mass shooting doesn't even warrant "breaking news" interruptions except on the cable channels.

So we have an attempted shooting at a predominantly black church, bombs sent to news and liberal figureheads, and a shooting at a synagogue. Lovely week.
