Your post top of the page kind of is.
You made the claim that nobody is complaining about script/performance/shots/etc. just the race of the actor. Jorge is refuting the former, which doesn’t saying anything about the latter.
As I already said. You cranks here are the only people I’ve seen make really any complaints.
Some legit some just stupid.
You havent been the racist assholes and I wasn’t suggesting that to be clear.
I’m in a lot of other sw forums and that has been happening and worse.
Why would I ask some Star Wars idiot about his opinion on Pearl jam when he hasn’t a clue about them or what he’s talking about?
Wouldn’t make any sense

But I know who anakin is.
Why would I waste my time arguing with an idiot who doesn’t know anything about Pearl jams best album in years and only heard ten when he was a kid cos his brother made him listen to it?
You’re trolling at this point.

No, you stated definitively (here and here) that nobody anywhere is complaining about the show's filmmaking, and that's what I'm countering. The pie chart of Kenobi reactions isn't Racists vs. Fans. There's also people who just don't like it for valid reasons.dimejinky99 wrote:Jorge wrote:Nobody in this thread is saying thisdimejinky99 wrote:Just because you guys haven’t seen the abuse online that’s she’s been getting, means it isn’t happening?

I guess it is my love of Star Wars coupled with this is during my favorite time of story telling in the SW universe, but I can look past any filming or even acting hang ups. This episode was great. It had everything; Vader, underground rebel support, cool callback (Quinlan!!!) and I like the young Leia. Ewan was fucking brilliant when Vader was chasing him. The fear in his face was amazing.

I said those complaints are only happening here. With you guys. That isn’t to say they aren’t valid. Point was it’s not discussions I’ve seen anywhere else.

Have they just telegraphed Voss appearing in this?
Someone has to rescue Leia from Reva and possibly Vader.
Is Leia gonna meet Vader? Is that a canon conflict?
Definitely think we’ve only seen round one of Ben and Vader in this.
Maybe he does it? He’s in really bad shape though so how could it be him?
Etc etc

Re: Disney+: Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
about ep 3
FUCK YEAH VADERRRRRR
Man, what a fucking treat...Vader and Obi Wan! this fight! That close up to Vader watching trough the fire....thats anakin´s good side appearing right there, like in Jedi...great scene, great moment.
I love Leia in this one. Its so well written, it feels like Leia. It makes sense she sees how the empire is really treating the galaxy and thats when she gets so compromised with helping everyone. Its kind of a shame she must get her memories erased at the end right?
So many questionssssss

Great shout.
He does appear later on in rebels. We know Ben is gonna get Leia home either way. So Reva is dead either at Vader’s hands or the GI. But it’s more likely to be the GI than anyone else.

Re: Disney+: Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
Episode 3 is my favorite so far. It felt bigger like a movie. I liked all the shots of the landscape w/ ships, etc. Vader was awesome. Very scary. It continues to make the Vader/Obi Wan duel in A New Hope so bad because the new encounters are much better. The dark chase scene was great.
Please keep Leia from running, it does look kinda silly and she shouldn't be outrunning grown-ups. Haha.
Two thumbs up on this one.

Re: Disney+: Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
Question from a Star Wars dilettante: do the events depicted in this show sit comfortably with the established SW lore? Does Leia make any reference to having met Kenobi as a child in the OT? Or are they retconning some stuff
