True story: I tried to do the aristocrats joke in high school but said "The Aristocats!" instead.

Greatest movie theater experience I ever had... Went on opening night and watched 2/3 of the sold out audience leave, including the couple who sat beside us and warned us that we need to be thick-skinned to see it.

Best thing Bob ever did!

I would've liked to watch that in the theater

I don't know how Tim Bierman wasn't cast as The Thing in the new Fantastic Four reboot.

They were afraid he'd call up comic book nerds that talk shit on the Internet.

How does the artist stay connected to fans beyond posting to their Facebook page or meeting people after a show at the merch table? One answer is to focus on the super-fan, the ones that know all about the artist, go to every show, and are rabid for personal attention. What does an successful direct-to-fan approach look like? Why does it work?
This does explain many of the recent merch options on the website.

This would have been a cool thing to attend. One of the things I've missed about that call in show was learning what the Ten Club was thinking when they did various things. Often he was vague and/or I didn't agree with their choices, but I could at least understand what was going on.

Now we're back to having no idea why they do the crazy shit they do, and this presentation will probably shed some light on that.

Anyone want to attend and blog about it?

I'm still waiting for Beats by Pearl Jam.

I imagine the frequency response on their headphones will be just as impeccably sculpted as Dre's, too.

I'd like to attend this. Does anyone know if SXSW plays home to any tomato vendors?

 It might be a blessing in disguise. LB for the most part isn't exactly ideal frequency response friendly.

Do you like to make lists of "Eddie solo songs," which include every song he's ever sung while showering (as though that made it his)? Boy do we have a club for you.

I kind of wish Tim was Ed's friend and he was the one to get him the job just for the piss you guys would be taking out of it. Bierman photoshoped on the picture with Ed, Rita Wilson and Mrs. Bruce Springsteen I'm sure would have been a hit here.
