If you ever figure out what it is, I'd love to know. The guy continues to blow my mind. He's undoubtedly one of the best American film makers of his generation -- maybe all time.
"completely work" probably wasn't the right way to phrase this...just moreso what i said in the last sentence about them never rising to the level of all-time favorites for me

I love movie history, and Fincher movies. Baby girl is sleeping, wife’s at work. I ate some delicious smoked trout, with slices from a fresh loaf. Having a nice evening.
Mank is good, but not great.

watched Free Guy with the kids tonight. it was corny but cute.
of course, my kids knew all the streamers who made cameos.
