Oh, wow, it is. Unexpected.Gigalogy84 wrote:I still love this song! It’s still climbing up the mainstream rock charts too.
yes, right hereMs Harmless wrote:did anyone create a version of this without the drum intro?
The youtube captions say "We are each of us one". The lyrics that come up first on google say "We are each of us for"PHATJ wrote:I didn’t know anyone hard a hard time deciphering that lyric.mikejasond wrote:There's a line in the song that says "We are each of us fucked" but its impossible to tell what he says because it doesn't sound anything like that even if you know the lyric.PHATJ wrote:Lol, whatmikejasond wrote:I hate the way "we are each of us fucked" is legitimately unintelligible if you don't know the line. I used to think he was saying "reach of a spark"
how unusual for a pearl jam song.mikejasond wrote:The youtube captions say "We are each of us one". So there are definitely people that have trouble deciphering it.
Pretty sure I did the first lyric pass from the single. I know I didn’t have everything correct, but I don’t remember having any difficulty hearing that lyric.stip wrote:how unusual for a pearl jam song.mikejasond wrote:The youtube captions say "We are each of us one". It's too bad that people are having trouble with that one (I didn't do the first lyric pass with the single, I don't think, so I'm not sure if I heard it correctly or if it was pointed out to me). It's a great lyric.
I know. They arent. In my head they are.stip wrote:they probably aren't, but that's a quality 3 song run you sketched out there

I don't know that I think the songs are all that close. Sad is a much better comp to SBWM.stip wrote:It is probably the song it is closest to in the catalog, I think. I do like the MYM solo better. Both are great songs with great performances from Eddie, but SBWM has better lyrics and the band feels a bit more locked in.
