I still love this song! It’s still climbing up the mainstream rock charts too. This song is making a much bigger impact than Dance of the Clarivoyants when it comes to radio play. Most likely because it’s less experimental and more standard PJ.

I used to think he was saying "reach of a spark"
Lol, what :haha:
There's a line in the song that says "We are each of us fucked" but its impossible to tell what he says because it doesn't sound anything like that even if you know the lyric.
I didn’t know anyone hard a hard time deciphering that lyric.
The youtube captions say "We are each of us one". The lyrics that come up first on google say "We are each of us for"

So there are definitely people that have trouble deciphering it.

how unusual for a pearl jam song.

It's too bad that people are having trouble with that one (I didn't do the first lyric pass with the single, I don't think, so I'm not sure if I heard it correctly or if it was pointed out to me). It's a great lyric.

Pretty sure I did the first lyric pass from the single. I know I didn’t have everything correct, but I don’t remember having any difficulty hearing that lyric.

This song is great. Maybe stip will tell me why this song is connected in some weird way with Force Of Nature and Lightning Bolt. It is like a Little Opera
Sbwm
FON
Lightning Boly

It is probably the song it is closest to in the catalog, I think. I do like the MYM solo better. Both are great songs with great performances from Eddie, but SBWM has better lyrics and the band feels a bit more locked in.

I don't know that I think the songs are all that close. Sad is a much better comp to SBWM.

This part makes me want to...

Right now I feel... A lack of innocence
Searching for reveal... Hypnotonic resonance

I feel... Not much of anything
And the cause is life or death

There's a really cool affect when Mike's solo comes in... the band does their background thing of delayed crescendo and at first (if you listen on headphones especially) if gives the sensation of falling (and then splatting on the ground in a good way).
