i might get the Faith No More thing, Sage Francis and Sunday Nights: The Songs of Junior Kimbrough

Vaguely interested in the Green River demos. The only one I'll be hunting down is the Jason Molina 7'' (which I ordered through an IndieGogo campaign almost 2 year ago, and then the project was cancelled and they never refunded us).

They're typically just pressed from mp3s or radio sources. Same thing as listening to them on your computer

That being said, that's like the 2nd or 3rd vinyl bootleg of that Chicago show that I've seen

I bought Texas Flood by SRV and Real Gone by Tom Waits. SRV was like 5 bucks.

i accidentally won an auction for a record that was too expensive. i bid on it like a day ago out of shits and giggles, upping the latest bid by only $1. then no one else touched it. fuuuuuuck.

Haha nice. last year I won a john zorn record that goes usually for $40 plus by putting in the minimum of $0.99 and no one else made a bid after that

She's my wife's favorite, and I always kicked myself for not grabbing it for $20 when I could. And her birthday is next month so it works out, but still.

I just started buying Phish vinyl and I dunno how I should feel about myself.

pearl jam should take a cue from phish as it relates to reissues. the albums are remastered well, the vinyl sounds great, and the packaging is excellent. the price stings a bit - averaging $50 new for 2lp sets, including the upcoming hoist - but when the quality is top-notch, it stings a lot less.

It's sort of shocking how high the quality of the vault releases has been in comparison to the reissues of Ten through Vitalogy. It's not like they're unlistenable or anything, but they're also nowhere near pristine.
