As for the outlook of this team, Seabrook has a year left on his deal. The way I see it, Sharp is gone, Oduya, Rozsival, and Bickell are most likely gone, and the rentals are gone. That leaves Toews (27), Kane (26), Hossa, Saad (22), Crawford, Teuvo (20), Hammer (27), Van Riemsdyk, Shaw (23), Kruger, Veersteeg, and prospects like Svedberg. That’s pretty solid. It will be difficult to make it out of the west next year with the lack of D, but the year after that with some retooling, they could back in the mix.
