Holy crap I take it back. I totally get why people are bitching. The opening game was great (I guess its a demo) but now that I'm further in it's really hard. I'm sure some of it is cause I'm playing with Villa but the computer steals everything but I can't get the ball from them. I can be a good 15 yards ahead of a defender and they catch up to me but that doesn't happen when they have the ball. I have to pass 15 times just to get it into their half but they just race by me. It's pretty frustrating. I've scored once in 5 games.

To me, that makes it more fun. I feels like an accomplishment when you score a goal or execute a run correctly.

yeah i think i'll give it a go. i've been on the fence about whether i want to buy another MMO shooter, so this might help make my decision.

Yeah I kinda had to admit to myself that I stink and need to learn how to play and went to a lower difficulty level.

I may have played the Witcher more than any game I've ever played. I completed all side quests and contracts. Some treasure hunts. At the ending between cut scenes, I die and don't get to finish. A shitty thud to a great game. I haven't read that anyone else experienced this glitch.

Battlefront is really fun. I'm not an FPS guy but they nailed the Star Wars "feeling". I really wish there was a story mode though in the actual game.

the lack of single player story mode is kind of why i've been on the fence. I logged into the playstation store and set the beta to download so i'll have it all ready to go by the time i get home from work. We will have to connect at some point this weekend.

So I've logged a few hours in this to the point where I've hit the level cap (5), and it is an incredible looking game. Probably the first next gen title that actually looks like it. It just looks amazing. But it has reinforced how I feel about online shooters, which is that I find them frustrating more often than enjoyable. Which probably has more to do with my skill level in shooters than anything else, but ultimately I just find I get frustrated after playing for an hour or two. I think I will buy this at some point when it goes way down in price so i can play the offline mode, but I doubt I will drop $80 for it in November.

It is now. Used to be the same price as the U.S but they raised the price earlier this year.
