Do they sound like this?

Because if so I will be forced to respectfully disagree, and subsequently propose that they are superior to the songs they are intended to introduce.

Unfortunately not. The introductions to a show are everything but cool. I always get scared someone asks what I am listening to.

maybe the presentation will include a component for long-standing fans who have watched the 10C transition from a mechanism to keep fans apprised of tours and news in a pre-internet/feudalized record industry age into a gift shop in a shopping mall designed solely for worthless asswipes.

the segment will consist of a person counting a pile of money

and the longstanding fans listening to bootlegs from an era when the band didn't suck, and eddie was waaaaay hotter

tickets will be a modest $200 per pair and will be assigned by a lottery that requires both pre-ranking and F5 and pre-purchasing of the limited edition speaking engagement poster, t-shirt, sticker set, and cockring....

I very much consider U2's willingness to postpone an entire album/tour cycle for many months, in order to allow themselves more time to get a record done the way they want it done and to invite other talent in to support the primary producer, to be an opportunity to complain about pearl jam

pearl jam did the same thing, remember? that's why L-bolt required the two sessions.

although I'll readily admit U2 almost certainly takes the crafting process more seriously.

Yes, I'm sure U2 is going for an unprecedented THREE 2-week sessions, with the added twist of not taking a year away from each other to not work on developing more ideas in the meantime.

The band...had the album's first recording sessions in early 2012 before the musicians decided to take a break. As all the band members got into side projects afterwards, work on Lightning Bolt only resumed in March 2013.

Oh, okay. I took your comment as nothing happening creatively.

Every time I hear a good song in a side project I get pissed that it wasn't saved for pearl jam

No argument there.

I was thinking about how Pearl Jam needs to totally shake things up in order to get my attention ever again. They need to narrow down and perfect their songlist and rehearse more. They need a new producer. And possibly even a new drummer. I think that's what they need at this point. Because this shit doesn't work anymore.

If I produced album #11 it would be a fucking masterpiece.

I think if Matt opted to leave Pearl Jam and stay with Soundgarden, it would be the best thing that could possibly happen to either band.

Silk will ride the strength of a music video made out of guerilla style clips of Ed just running up to people and kicking them in the nuts all the way to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

As much as Ed compliments Matt on stage constantly, they do not actually complement each other musically very well

and now its just some three ring fucking stage act

PJ need more funk

Matt was meant to guide a ferry through the river styx
