It's going to be tough to really, really believe this team has a chance at the division until they win a series against a top-flight team (1-4 vs NYY so far, 2-4 vs HOU), but I'm going to be onboard the Devers for ASG train all the fucking way to the Devers-is-a-longshot-for-MVP wagon.

I don't think I could handle the stress of the play-in game. It might be mitigated by the fact that I would anticipate the Sox losing in 4 to NYY or HOU in the 1st round, but still doesn't seem like fun.

I still think they can win the WS, I just don’t think they can make up the hole they dug at the beginning of the season. Would LOVE for them to acquire a closer, though.
