I think Luke is a lock. If only for one shot.

Season finale, Mando will put the child on the seeing stone, he’ll reach out with the force. And it’ll cut to Luke Snapping his eyes open. And credits.
It’d mirror that shot in Last Jedi. They’ve been doing lots of that mirroring scenes/shots fron the films in Mandalorian apparently.
They’re not getting rid of the kid. Without him, the show would lose a huge crowd. He’s as much the star as Mando. Kid’s going nowhere.

By your logic wease, the child will always be safe given his abilities.
Wouldn’t bank on that.

Baby Yoda is single handedly keeping the Disney Stock price afloat. He might be in jeopardy for drama sake but he will ultimately be fine. They aren't going to kill him off to set up the sequel trilogy that made a BILLION dollars less between the first and third installment. There might be people that thought they were amazing but from a corporates perspective the ST was a disaster. Disney is hemorrhaging money. The only thing they have going for them is better than expected subscriber numbers for Disney +. Mando is their flagship show. The kid will get a happy ending. I doubt I could ever get my wife to watch anything Star Wars again if they killed off the kid. Disney wants her. The extremely casual fan to watch their shows and buy their crap. They already have us no matter what.

Your statement makes no sense whatsoever. All I said was they’re keeping the kid on the show. You interpret that to mean I don’t think anything harmful could ever happen to him. By your logic, turning him over to Luke or another Jedi means he will never be safe.

Im happy that we got a episode with the quality of the last one. Specially after what we got with the sequels. They should have hire Filoni to write all the sequels.

Generally loving the show. The budget has gone crazy on the visuals this season.

I see them wrapping up trying to return the BY/Grogu story this season, as it does feel like that could get old by a third season. The child could stay with Mando, but at least the main story arc is not to return him necessarily.

I just hope that whatever happens with this show, that they don't end the show by killing Mando off, as some sort of sacrifice or whatever. It's lazy storytelling and Disney seems to love killing characters.

I've been wondering if the jump in special effects this season is budgetary or if in fact they came up with new techniques that make high quality effects for less money. There was a lot of talk prior to the new season that they made some revolutionary leaps with the process.

Someone posted about it last week. It's not like I caught it on my own.
