Then why make it happen in the first place? Why even kill someone if they are just going to come back to life two episodes later? Now anytime someone dies, we'll just think 'why doesn't the red lady just cast a spell?' And if someone dies, but Jon or Davos doesn't say 'hey red lady, cast that spell,' we'll think "wow Jon and Davos didn't actually like that guy." I do not see the point.

but this one was so lame. Dany was cool because we learned something about her. The Mountain is cool because he didn't actually die and he came back as something different and even scarier. Beric Dondarrion exists only to prepare us for Jon Snow's resurrection. This is dumb.
