I've literally always thought the lyrics to Everything in its Right Place were:

"Yesterday I woke up sucking a little more".

Imagine my absolute shock to discover today that they are actually:

"Yesterday I woke up sucking on a lemon".

My lyrics are much better than Thom's here, for sure.

I'm actually a little devastated by this...

Your lyrics are not better

They certainly fit my life better, and that's all that matters to me at this point.

There are times when my mind is blown by what lyrics actually say vs what I thought they are.

This is not one of those times.

I noticed this with TV commercials a long time ago too. The background music is always some chick singing some variation of that. It drives me insane, but I'm the only person on the planet who notices it.
