The Fifth Element?

Thats weird.

I feel is superior to Rogue One and it gets the tone from Ep IV really good.

I enjoyed this, but the first 20 minutes or so we're shit. The open text was 100% pointless and the English speaking catapillar ruined all the tension in that scene.

I liked Glover, L3, Chewie, Vision, and the 4 armed guy. Han, Harrellson and Qu'ra we're fine. I had very low expectations for this movie, and I was pleasantly surprised. I dont know where I'd rank it.

i agree, but i can see why VG might prefer Solo. It's a fun space pirate movie to R1's dark war movie in space.
Im still thorn on Rogue 1...I want to see the movie the first trailer sold me. The death of those characters bored me because i didnt care for any of them. It looked awesome but it was so serious and dull i was mostly bored.

This one feels exactly in the right tone. Its the first of these new movies that feels like that, they nailed the tone of ANH, the sci fi fun element from the 70s. Hell, even the droid talking about sex seems right from the 70s.
