You'd have to be a crazy asshole to start an argument over somebody in front of you reclining their seat

As a tall person I need all the space I can get, so I'm going to recline my seat.

If that's a problem you can take it up with Boeing for designing the plane for maximum discomfort or save up for a first class ticket.

She is allowed to put her seat back

It's a bit of a dick move but it's allowed

It sucks for the person behind them but that's just one of the indignities of flying coach

I'm tall, but don't say anything when someone reclines their seat in front of me. usually, my knees dig right into their back when they do. And any time I move they feel it, so they usually put it up. Or I just fly Comfort+ or better to avoid it. Comfort on long flights is worth the money.

Never seen anyone ask before, but I also don’t understand the people who lean their seat back like they just got punched in the chest by the Incredible Hulk

Neither person is in the wrong. The airlines are the guilty ones here.

We’re just a bunch of sardines.

They’re tiny little herrings.

I haven’t reclined my seat in many years but I don’t think it’s a dick move. It should however be done very slowly and gradually.

It's not a full-on dick move. It's only a bit of a dick move. Class solidarity above all

I never recline my seat but I always pay for extra leg room seats. Just did that very thing for my flights tomorrow and Friday in fact.

But yeah, you can recline if ya wanna. Never felt that the juice was worth the squeeze when it comes to reclining airplane seats though.

I always recline. Sitting straight up kills my lower back. But I’ve never been in any plane seat that reclined any more than, what, 2 inches? It’s not like my head is in the lap of the person behind me.

This is the move, but obviously not affordable for everyone
