The beginning of show 3 is the only part of the run that holds up for me. The rest feels like a long first-day rehearsal.
IIRC encore 1 of show 3 was solid.

I just listened to a lot of the 07/07/06 show on Sirius xM. My GOD They were good in 2006. It was awesome! They were just on fire that year. I wanted to turn it off but I couldn't because each rendition of the song was especially good. Eddie sounded GREAT. Matt Cameron was actually playing with intensity and rhythm and the band was SO tight. It's sad. 2006 was such a PEAK for the band in live performance and while it wasn't the same sound as the 90s, it was PERFECT for the self-titled album, and those songs ALL sounded great life, and even BETTER than on the album.
It's just a shame that after that things seemed to go downhill majorly. I wish Eddie could still sound that good. I loved it

I'm finishing up a listen-through of the 2005 shows, and I am very eager to get to 2006 next because I do remember them being very good basically right off the bat.

'06 is a great tour with lots of highs and really not many lows, even the Petty 'openers' are stellar, but Philly '05

Is there a drive somewhere with the 2003 tour flacs? I’d like to hear this and a ton more from that tour.

'06 is a great tour, but the '05 shows (mostly Canada IIRC) were also pretty awesome. Montreal '05 is a show I've listened to over and over.

Ill try that one next..
im listening to 03 boots right now, the crazy marys are a bit more unhinged and a lot of fun. and i like how stone seems to purposely play the songs from ten extra clean.. its like hes always trolling in some mild way.

I feel like the 03 tour is one of my favorite tours. Everybody loves '00 but I find '03 to be much better whenever I listen to a boot.

Buenos Aires 2013.
I attended of course, but hardly remember anything due to a very difficult moment in my life when this show happened. I was surprised on how fun it was, Ed sounds good and RVM is an absolute beast.

That's being kind, this show is a fucking mess. Few good versions and the rest is a shit show. I know some of these guys were sick with Covid, but my god, did they even try to practice in between legs? Because pinkpop was just ok too. If the shows are gonna be shorter, this could get old quick.

I Believe in Miracles sounded good. Granted, that's the only song I've heard so far.

Oakland II 2022....6 songs in. Shakey start (with all those new drummers;)) but then a very good Once follows and they absolutely kill it on Throw Your Hatred Down. Good lord!

I listened to the July 20th 2006, Portland show this morning after the July 2003 shows.
The band sounds really great. Great flow, a few ballads. It's Stone birthday and he gets to sing Don't gimme no lip. Joyful spirit overall. I used to think the 2003 shows had a great energy but this is even better.

San Francisco III and Portland 2006. What a great 1 - 2 punch!

I'll give it a listen after The Gorge (July 22nd and July 23rd).
