This has been the sweatiest week of running I can remember. Shorts absolutely dripping wet after every run. My wife and daughter are repulsed.

This entire summer has been hands down the worst and most difficult running I can remember. It's been awful. The weather has been out of control.

Agreed. But I only have last summer to compare it to, when it was cooler than average and not all that humid. But yeah, it's been brutal.

I'm so glad I'm not training for the NYC Marathon this year. I'm not sure I'd be able to do it in this heat/humidity. When it isn't 90 + degrees and 90% humidity, it's 8o + degrees and raining.

With all of the smoke in the area the weekend's triathlon is up in the air. It's clearing a little bit - by which I mean I can
sort of see the control tower at PDX today - but it was supposed to clear up last night and the forecast has just been pushing that haze to the next day since Tuesday.

Sitting on top of the leaderboard with 2 more runs scheduled for this week. Will this be my week?
Aaaand, hit 1000 miles for the year today. That's....something?

Solid strategy. I should start running during work, too.

Went for a run over the weekend, and both issues I'd been having didn't present themselves. Was gonna enlist R2D's expertise, but it seems now I don't need to

I had a really shit long run tonight. My watch didn't even sync it, perhaps sensing how bad it was.
