Think about it as the Playstation Network is the internet and Playstation Plus is the internet provider. In this case though your internet provider gives you two free games each month.

Sort of? You'll need to make a Playstation Network account, which is free, and then you'll have to register for PS+, which costs money. Same account, you just get online privileges with PS+ .
