Always breakfast with these guys. Dave A. is fired over breakfast while they have to find a replacement a few years later when they get a waffling Irons.

Matt has now lasted 25 years. Amazing. He does it by intermittent fasting - he only eats between noon and 9pm…for professional reasons.

Yeah i agree with this. Backspacer has a similarly OK first half but i think ends much stronger than LB.

I was just so excited. And following the TSIS main page. But Lightning Bolt's 10th deserves a full 10 days of appreciation

it's an excellent collection of songs about what it means to be a middle aged Gen Xer. It's production is the only thing that holds it back.

Look it's bottom tier PJ but stip is totally right.

A great, underrated record that is held back by bad production.

The arrangements are "been there done that" the guitar parts are boring as fuck (nothing exciting as far as guitar playing is concerned and when you have two fucking awesome guitar players.....huge disappointment), production definitely sucks, and it sounds like a band spinning their wheels wondering how they should sound at this stage of their career but only relying on what they know best without challenging or questioning any of it.

There is nothing interesting on this record. For me - the only interesting song is the title track and that is because the song takes a few different twists and turns in its arragenemnt.

Now, i say this but for me, strat, it's Pearl Jam. So, i can listen to it and find so much enjoyment from it but i know damn well this is the worst offering they've had and it is not underrated at all.

That one version from their "live" video was really great.
