I don't have room for Tangerine because I re-watch episodes of sitcoms over and over again.

Don't blame Bad Moms for my bad comfort habits.

Though, I have been better about watching movies lately. But again I'm watching stuff I've already seen. Mostly, Christmas stuff right now.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

VG, I've only seen The Florida Project and like the first 30 mins of Tangerine (I got called away and haven't been able to continue it). But TFP is one of my favorite films of the last decade.

Starlet is also a very compelling beautiful movie about friendship. It was refreshing when i saw it.

I should watch all three again before Red Rocket.

Damn im dying to see it.

Halfway through Annette. This thing is so hilariously out of my wheelhouse but I still love it. All I knew going in was it was on the top ten list of some rando on a film podcast I listen to, Adam Driver was in it, it had a good soundtrack and was available to stream on Amazon. Did not know about it being a musical, Sparks' involvement, how...French it is, and especially did not know about the weird child puppet. I'm all in, might be my favorite film of the year.

Annette's ending did not disappoint. What a finale!

What should I watch next? Any other decent 2021 releases available to stream? I have Netflix, HBO, Amazon...maybe Apple.

Last movie from 1998 on my list (1500 movies from 1918 to 2021). Have 8 movies left from each of 99, 00 and 01, seen everything older during the past two years.

I got a satiric sort of allegory with a bucket of heart.

I only saw one quick teaser. I had no idea that's what the movie was. I was surprised. But sounds like you know what's up.
