Annie's undying love for Idles is inspiring.

Stella Mozgawa from Warpaint seems to be playing on the new one. Very interested.

Guys i truly dont mean to sexualize her but its just everything about her.

When she sauntered on stage i was just blown away by her natural charisma.

Its just like Ed in his prime. When ed would slowly walk on stage with a cool jacket on and a bottle of wine....take his place at the mic and just let it rip.

The entire room changes.

So yea, i think she is absurdly beautiful but its her artistic abilities and pure talent that is the true sex.

She is a berkley grad and the only berkley school of music grad that i respect. The rest are just a bunch of jazz snob putzes.

I totally know what strat is saying though. Her allure is all encompassing and her talent is boundless. She's gorgeous, she's weird, she's talented, she's seemingly from another planet (in terms of knowledge, influence, and creativity), she's just something else. And her work means the world to me. And her stage presence has to be experienced to understand. He's right. The room shifts when she steps on stage. It's amazing.

Strat, maybe the reason the Berkeley thing doesn't bug you is that she never actually graduated. She left to tour with Sufjan Stevens.

You're an approaching-middle-aged guy with a sizeable record collection and a Telecaster.

Your 'jazz snob putz' phase is surely about to hit any moment.

Oh I like jazz.

I've collaborated with musicians before who know too much about music and theory and I've seen them tie themselves into knots trying to create the most complex guitar piece that doesn't fit.

But it's personal preference. So whatever

Caught her at Ohana '22... She made me weep with New York.

listening again to Daddy´s Home. I love how this one sounds. The Melting Of The Sun is a Pink Floyd lost song.

I can totally understand Annie´s music or live show as theatre. I mean she even changes the setup and how she dressed and perform live with every new album. And while its tempting to think of her as someone closer to Bowie, i still feel she is the new Prince really.

Happy to see she's moving on from her Diane Chambers phase, but it was Hot AF at Fenway w/ RHCP...

Bring on the new theatrics! :bammer:
