Of the movies I've watched recently - I think I liked Walter Mitty the best.

I'm hopeful for it too. These three weren't great.

what's up with the missing subtitles every now and then? or sometimes, it seems like they aren't even there. think i'll go out and purchase this movie just to make up for those missed titles. oh, and it's pretty freaking cool movie.

love it. i'm 20 minutes in and this is right up there with Long Way Round for me.

Pain & Gain.
It had been sitting in its Netflix envelope on a table for nearly a week. Takes a while to get going but the second half is surprisingly enjoyable in "that's crazy" kind of way. It's based on a true story and while liberties were taken apparently what actually happened is even more nutso. Not your typical Michael Bay flick and while he tones it down some it's still obvious his fingerprints are all over it.

It was fine, but i think i liked the book better...and it was a bummer to read it.

Yup. I loved that book, read it in one night, but the movie just didn't do it for me. The inclusion of the mother character was a mistake.
