Too bad about Brandon Jennings..... like I said when the Bucks rookie went down, it seems like a lot of non contact injuries happen in modern day NBA. As a Bulls fan, stuff like this terrifies me.

Also, I feel like Lamarcus Aldridge is taking a big risk by not getting the surgery on his thumb. He could be back in plenty of time for the playoffs but is choosing to possibly harm his career long term by playing through it instead.

Hassan Whiteside!!!! God, I wish we knew this kid was gonna come out of nowhere and do this, oh I don't know, when LeBron was deciding where to play.

Speaking of which, can we please get the Thunder and Cavs actually NBA coaches? We should be seeing KD/LeBron finals on a regular basis, and yet it seems like these coaches will do their best to prevent that from happening.

Brooks I agree with but you can't really fault Blatt in Cleveland. Most of those guys are uncoachable and think they are above it all. Still, that trade seems to have fixed them and they are going to be there in the east. If there is a God it will be Hawks and Warriors in the finals and we won't have to suffer through chill mode James and his bullshit Cleveland narrative.

The Bulls are a mess. Sad to see Noah like this and Taj has been pouting/playing stupid all year. Thibs continues to play Fuckboy Gogglehead Hinrich 30 mins a night when he does nothing. Whiteside played a great game but doing damage against that frontcourt really isn't that big of a deal right now.

The Bulls just seem to have fallen off the face of respectability overnight. Like a month ago it felt like they were about to go on a run and put the entire east behind them.

Don't watch a whole lot of NBA, but I was hoping OKC would have done better

The problem with OKC is that Westbrook asserts himself in critical moments when KD should be the one doing so. KD doesn't take over games in critical moments like LeBron and others because Brooks always gives Westbrook the green light, when they should be feeding KD.

I've only watched the last few of their games - mainly curious to see how Steven Adams is doing

That would be tremendous. I am mighty curious to see how the Hawks would far against opponents who can more heavily scout and gameplan for their attack. They will still do well, but how well?

They're not using Love effectively enough. He's mostly being used as a spot up shooter at this point and they don't put him in the post enough and try to run the offense through him from there. Maybe that will come around in the next couple of months...I hope.

I watched a ton of Wolves games in the last two or three years and the Cavs are severely misusing Love. Perhaps they are penalizing him on the offensive end for being so apathetic on the other end.

They don't run nearly enough pick and rolls with Love and Lebron/Irving. Instead they run them with Mozgov or Thompson and have Love spot up. Missed opportunity.

It's a good question. there's not really one great player but a lot of very good ones. I think they will translate well to the playoffs because as long as they continue to pass the ball and play defense they should be in games. Korver is a ridiculous shooter, Teague hasn't always been great in the playoffs but he looks better this year and they took Indiana to 7 games last year (I think) without Horford for the most part. It seems like everyone on the roster is contributing which hasn't always been the case.

I guess it will just depend on how the matchups pan out. I would love to see a Hawks/Warriors Finals though. That, along with the previous two Finals, might finally silence the NBA haters who think the league is all "iso ball".

Things will get much much harder for the Hawks in the playoffs and their lack of shot creators will probably hurt them in the end.

Most likely towards the latter rounds, yes.
