watched the babs and kris version of a star is born yesterday for the first time in my life..i have not seen the other 2

Bogart watched the 1937 version every Christmas, Judy Garland was amazing ln the 1954 version.

Nightmare Alley was fairly boring for long stretches. Looked nice, but it didn’t engage me enough.

Killing Them Softly

Big thumbs up. The whole cast was great, but getting to watch Pitt and Gandolfini acting together was a real treat.

Yeah that cast is ridiculously good. My first known exposure to Ben Mendelsohn and Scoot McNairy and now they're among my favorites.

I also really liked that it was only an hour and a half long. The world needs more movies under 2 hours.
