But taking the 10,000-year view of it all, I'm perhaps being optimistic when I say that things will probably be a lot better, on a policy level, in another 20-30 years, even as we're still grappling with the short-term fallout from our current policies.

i don't give a fuck who he votes for, so long as he votes with his conscience. He's in one of the bluest states in the country, MA is not gonna go to Trump. He shouldn't feel swayed by any national narrative he doesn't believe in.
