I like the sequence quite a bit. Longway moved to 12 may have been a better choice.

Youre probably right, but it doesn't feel like PJ have done a rocker this loose and rollicking since probably Save You. I would describe GSMF as loose and rollicking as well SBWM. Yeah this album is much better than what I expected, and the first two singles are the worst two songs on this album.

I would also argue that the reason why the compositions are as good they are is because Ed didn't write the songs by himself, but had Watt and the rest of the band there to help him.daft twat wrote:Maybe my expectations are low, but this is exactly the kind of record I’d expect from a man pushing 60 who has lived a good life. Wow this is cool Elton singing ya leading into that solo. This elevates the song. It is my least favorite song but hearing this improved it alot. My complaint was it was a bit boring.
