Agreed. Very dramatic, and beautifully shot.

Thank God Colin Treverow isn't directing this
I love that idea. I brought it up at some point last year after hearing Jennifer Landa from Force Center speculate about it. And I really, really want that to be the case.

The hardest pill for me to swallow will be an "evil" Force Ghost. I hate that idea and it kinda flies in the face of everything they've set up from the beginning and George's original idea/intention how the light and dark sides work.

Again, we'll see how they handle it. I'm still super excited!
I hope it is something different than a Sith force ghost.

And still didn't feel out of place or too "Marvel-y" for me.

I'm underwhelmed. It was fine. The music was the best part.

I prefer a straight up resurrection, frankly. But I also think they could "bring him back" in hologram/holocron form, too. One of those is preferable to me.

I think she will really nail it in this movie. Seemed really solid in the trailer.

durdencommatyler wrote:I know we don't like to think about marketing/social media/hits in relation to art and all of that but that's the world we live in.

The title will likely have a "keyword" in it for internet search/social media purposes. "Force" and "Jedi" were both used in the previous films. Great buzz/keywords for marketing tie-in purposes and search engine ease. I fully expect this one to also have a major Star Wars "buzzword" in it.

I imagine with how hard they've been hitting "conclusion of the Skywalker Saga" that there's a more than decent chance that "Skywalker" will appear in some form. Something like "The Fate of the Skywalkers" or maybe "The Skywalker Legacy." Something in that arena is my official guess.

But we'll find out in 2 days! :heartbeat:
durdencommatyler wrote:I also kinda hope there's a play on the "This isn't going to go the way you think" line from the TLJ trailer. I hope someone says something like "This can only end one way."

Also, I hope we get just one quick shot of Leia.
I'm gonna go ahead and call it two out of three. :D

Daisy is a treasure, but nothing about this movie yet looks all that appealing. Maybe that will change as more is revealed.

Or he didn’t die in XI. Bady injured, had to flee. I don’t know, I’m sure that doesn’t make sense. But I’ll let JJ tell his story first.

Duh. I honestly didn't think of that.

Yeah, I'd be cool with that too. Especially if they find a way to explain where he's been and why Snoke was a part of all of this.

I was a bit confused about it not saying Episode IX - The Rise Of Skywalker.

Exactly. It has to be told well. Easy to find loopholes in it.

I'm actually with dime on the title. The trailer is great, but I'm not feeling the title at all.
