What is this facial expression? What is it supposed to convey? It's kind of nervous and unthreatening, yet smug...I don't even know. But I want to punch him in his stupid fat face. Sometimes I catch myself making this face in a reflection, and I want to punch myself in the face, too.

Why do I see this facial expression on so many animated characters? It's like their default expression. I hate this!

Finished out 2021 with Annette.

I really enjoyed it.

Adam Driver should teach how to do monologues. I've never seen anyone at his level in that arena. It's unreal. Absolutely perfect every time. I don't know how he does it.

Adam Driver is incredible in Annette. It feels like the kind of role where it's hard to imagine the movie working with any other actor.

The Boxer (1997) - Really enjoyed this. DDL and Watson are pretty much always great, but excellent performances all around. Good way to start out 2022.
