I sent off a complaint to my alderman concerning the city’s aggressive new street sweeping schedule. Hoping other residents have done so as well and we get some TRACTION.

Every couple weeks instead of like three times a summer lol. But the bigger issue is they are closing down one side of the street for multiple streets in the same hood, whereas in previous years, they’d make sure to keep several streets fully open so folks could relocate their cars and still be reasonably close to home. Now you’re lucky to find a spot within a mile of your house. They’ll also do one side of our street, then the other side the following day, so you have to move your car twice in a short time period. Not great for folks who may have to go out of town for work or something.

As do towing companies, I’m sure.

The sweepers are taking home the same pay. Some dweeb down in city hall is just trying to maximize efficiency and minimize cost by having a sweeper do an entire neighborhood in one day, at the great inconvenience of its residents.

Could a news story be more Delaware-ish? It's just missing Corn Pop.

My retelling won’t do it justice but I recently witnessed a state senator stumping for a city council candidate, touting their views on inclusion and womens rights. Because these are issues that city councils address, lol.

The funny part is that she (state senator) runs hard left and he (cc candidate) is actually a MAGA voter - she doesn’t know that and he’d never admit it but we’re buddies and I know it so the whole thing is funny to me.

Trump is earnestly pro women that are pro him and (presumably) pro choice. There's no conflict there unless you want to create one.

I was chitchatting with the senator before her little speech and she went out of her way to talk about Orange Man Bad.

Anyway my point is if she actually knew the guy she wouldn’t be supporting him and I found it really funny to see her talking him up.

I had a zoom call with two WA state reps yesterday and among other things they asked me when I’m going to run.

A couple years back I got a couple of articles published in some large local newspaper publications (print and online).

One local libtard in particular took issue with my position(s) and published her own stuff on a significantly smaller “news” website. To her credit, at least she spelled my name correctly.

Well this week she wrote on the topic again, name dropping me multiple times. So I took a little trip down memory lane to remind myself that comments in response to my articles online garnered over 100 readers agreeing with me - probably 90%+ of them agreed with me.

Libtard’s article this week on her libtard website has garnered 11 comments thus far, every single one of them disagreeing with her take. I’m considering posting a comment of my own simply stating “LOL”.
