No! They already cancelled. That wasn’t rumored. Hoped pj would take over. I would never wish a mama death. It’s the absolute worst :(

Was hoping pj would take over. But mmj deserves to play as long as they want.

are you talking about the Erykah Badu song?
Yes. Mmj covers it often.

I saw MMJ in NYC on 9/11. Great show. There was a live stream (most on You Tube). And a soundboard recording is already out there. Enjoy. They are near the top of their craft right now.

the thought crossed my mind but i dont think ed's cool enough to cover it. he's never really embraced anything too far outside of his wheelhouse. except that one time they covered 'dock of the bay' and it was the greatest thing ever. if the do it, i would assume it would be the who, the band, pink floyd, neil young, etc. if ed had balls they could pull something weird off like hall & oates.

Meanwhile hundreds of fans outside the US who bought tickets are being shafted and the ticket agent won’t even respond about refunds as US border is still closed to foreign travel.
Frontgate tickets especially. This sorta shit used to be what pearl jam was against.
Not any more it seems.

The event is going ahead, how is there any basis for a refund?

It's no fault of the organiser/promoter (certainly not the band) that some fans can't make it for whatever reason.

Travel from Europe isn’t back on until November Strat.
They just had an announcement on it the other day.

Fair. But it wouldn’t take anything to refund those tickets and put them back on sale to people that want them either. Especially for a relatively new company like the one in question. Small bit of goodwill goes a long way.
