Testify too is very cool. Matt’s drums are great, very loose and jazzy.

Finally listened to this. It all sounds great. Josh Evans is a great mixer!! The musicianship is excellent. Jeff Fielder (Mark Lanegan) is now added to the line-up.
But I do think it's another step down. Most songs on this record are just a bit mehh.. That first record was just excellent! The second was a not as good, and this third one is even worse.
Ok, Im gonna spin that first record again!

Yeah, i think I have to agree there, but I love them all, all 3 feel more rewarding than anything pj released since forever. They are just missing that little something ed brings to pj, its quite amazing how some little things change everything.
