I mean this show is clearly a drama that’s funny; comedy and drama are closely related as they’ve always said. There’s set up and payoff and a long history of comedic actors excelling in dramatic roles

Yeah it's a comedy but comedies can have dramatic moments. I definitely found it a sad episode. I don't think you have to love the characters or what they stand for to empathize with the situation they're going through.

I dunno, I'm still not in love with the show but I found that episode affecting. And there were still funny moments. I liked it when Kendall was like "give me the best expert in airplane medicine"

We were still thinking he would end up alive somehow at the end of the episode.

I figured he would die this season but that it would be in like the last episode or something.

this show is absolutely a comedy. it centers on people in positions of power who have no business being in those positions. all they do is fuck up constantly, but are so good at acting self important that you don't realize it's a bunch of homer simpsons bumbling around sector 7G.

Kinda hard to see Kerry being treated like that although her desperation for those wedding plans was laughable.

Shiv's great. "I did the strategic review" was a nearly Kendall-level-delusional comment. Combined with "daddy make-work", that was the best understated moment in the episode.

The best over-stated (but welcomedly over-stated) moment was Greg? choosing Marcia as his new champion
